FAQs

I meet with clients Monday - Thursday between 9 am - 5 pm. You can call or text me at (720) 655-5834 for quick answers. It is best to communicate through the client portal or schedule an appointment with me.

My Denver office is located in the Highlands neighborhood at 2806 N Speer Boulevard in the My Office Life brick building. It can be tricky to find the first time you visit since the main entrance is off an alley that runs parallel to Speer. Access the alley off Firth Street behind Key Bank.
Visitor parking is available next to the main entrance of My Office Life.

I offer 50-minute sessions and recommend clients attend sessions a minimum of once a week to start. Once you are progressing in therapy, we can move to bi-weekly until therapy is no longer needed.
-
I am unable to support those who need after-hours or crisis services. It will not be a good fit for you if you need a higher level of care.
If you are in crisis, please go to your local emergency room or call the Crisis Line at 800-273-8255.

Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for you, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment. If for any reason a session is canceled less than 48 hours prior, the full fee will be charged. All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule with clients before and/or after your appointment time. Therefore, late arrivals will not receive an extension of time for their scheduled appointments, and the original reservation fee will be charged.

Telehealth by SimplePractice is the technology service we will use to conduct telehealth videoconferencing appointments. I will send an accessible link to your phone or email from Simple Practice. All you need to do is get comfortable in a safe and quiet space, click the link, and join for a video meeting.
Sessions/Rates
I offer 50-minute individual sessions either in person at my office in the Denver Highlands or via Telehealth for clients anywhere in Colorado.
Before getting started, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. Our intake session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to learn more about your history and reasons for seeking therapy. From there, follow-up sessions can be scheduled weekly or biweekly—whatever best fits your needs. I have a 48-hour cancellation policy.
Since insurance companies often keep diagnoses on file and limit provider options, I am an out-of-network provider with most plans. I can provide a Superbill (invoice) for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your provider directly.
I look forward to working with you!
When is Therapy Over?
The duration of therapy varies for each individual and is a dynamic process. It’s my job for you to no longer have to see me. I believe in empowering you to feel confident with the tools that you have gained in sessions to conquer life's unplanned and unknowing challenges.
I will ask you to openly communicate with me about you progress, concerns, and whether you feel ready to conclude our therapeutic relationship.
